Campaign Prayer
Gracing
and loving God, we are grateful for all you have given us.
We thank You especially for the gifts of our priests here in
the Diocese of Yakima. Help us to recognize the need we have
to provide for the retirement of our priests, as a
responsibility and a promise to be kept, and also to provide
for our future priests, our present seminarians. Guide us in
our desire to be faithful stewards so that we never lose
sight of the fact that personal choices, must give way in
the spirit of Jesus' own suffering of himself for us, to
choices that will benefit our entire community. Help us to
recognize that in Your providence this is a time of
opportunity for us to grow as a diocese and as parish
families.
We ask
this in the name of Jesus our Lord. AMEN
